Your account notification preferences determine where and from whom you receive messages. You can update your notification settings from the Account Settings tab within your dashboard. These settings will allow you to:
- Enable Text Messages
- Unsubscribe from Email Communication
Update Notification Settings
1 Go to Account Settings
Head over to your dashboard or to your organization's website and log in. Then select Account Settings from the dashboard menu or dropdown menu on the website.
2 Change Notification Settings
Just check or uncheck the boxes next to each organization based on your preferences. For example if you check the Text box next to an organization but do not check the Email box, you will receive text messages from that organization but not emails. Feel free to click All Email or All Text to quickly update these or click Show Profiles to change preferences for individual profiles.
Enable Text Messages
To enable text notifications, first make sure there is a mobile phone number tied to your account then check the Text box next to the organization that you would like to receive texts from. To add your mobile phone, just click Add Mobile Phone in the top right hand corner of the Account Settings page.
Unsubscribe from Emails
We all get overwhelmed by the number of emails sitting in our inbox at some point. If you would like to unsubscribe from email communications from an organization, just uncheck the Email box next to that organization or select Unsubscribe from All.
If another member has linked your email to their account, they will need to unlink it for you to stop receiving messages.
You're unable to delete your account, so please follow the unsubscribe instructions above.
